Agnès Varda
Agnès Varda was a French film director and visual artist known for her contribution to the French New Wave movement. Her films often deal with themes of feminism, poverty, and social justice, and she was awarded numerous honors throughout her career, including an honorary Academy Award in 2017. She passed away in March 2019.
