Al Jolson

Al Jolson was a legendary American singer, comedian, and actor. He achieved worldwide fame in the 1920s and 1930s for his musical and theatrical performances. Jolson's biggest hit was the song "Swanee," which he performed in the Broadway musical Sinbad in 1919. He is also known for his portrayal of the lead character in the first "talkie" film, The Jazz Singer (1927).
