Alexander Mackendrick
Alexander Mackendrick was a Scottish film director and teacher. He is best known for directing films such as "The Ladykillers" and "Sweet Smell of Success". Mackendrick also taught at the California Institute of the Arts and was the Dean of the School of Film at the California College of the Arts.
