Allan Edwall was a Swedish actor, director, and screenwriter. He appeared in over 400 films and television series during his career and was best known internationally for his role in the Ingmar Bergman film "Fanny and Alexander." Edwall also directed several films and wrote screenplays for others. He passed away in 1997 at the age of 73.
