Angela Lansbury is a British-American actress who has had a career spanning almost eight decades. She is best known for her roles in film, television, and theater, including her iconic portrayal of Jessica Fletcher in the TV series "Murder, She Wrote." Lansbury has won numerous awards for her work, including five Tony Awards, six Golden Globe Awards, and an Honorary Academy Award. She was also appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2014.
