Aretha Franklin (1942-2018) was an American gospel, soul, and R&B singer, known for hits such as "Respect," "Chain of Fools," and "Think." She is often referred to as the "Queen of Soul" and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. Franklin passed away in 2018 at the age of 76.
