Arthur Hoyt was an American film actor who appeared in more than 275 films between 1908 and 1944. He was born in New York and began his career as a stage actor before transitioning to films in the silent era. He became known for his comedic roles and appeared in films such as "The Freshman" and "The Devil and Miss Jones".
