Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States, serving two terms from 2009-2017. Prior to his presidency, he was a community organizer, civil rights attorney, and Illinois State Senator. He is known for his efforts in healthcare reform, climate change, and improving international relations, as well as being the first African American president in U.S. history.
