Barton MacLane was an American actor and playwright born in Pennsylvania in 1902. He started his acting career in Broadway plays before transitioning to Hollywood in the 1930s. He is best known for his roles in films such as "The Maltese Falcon" and "High Sierra." MacLane passed away in 1969 at the age of 66.
