Benjamin C. Bradlee

Benjamin C. Bradlee was an American journalist who served as the executive editor of The Washington Post from 1968 to 1991. Under his leadership, the newspaper gained national prominence for its coverage of the Watergate scandal, which ultimately led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon. Bradlee is considered a trailblazer in American journalism and is widely regarded as one of the most influential editors of the 20th century. He died in 2014 at the age of 93.
