Billie Jean King is a former professional tennis player who won 39 Grand Slam titles, including 12 singles, 16 women's doubles, and 11 mixed doubles. She was also an advocate for gender equality in sports and founded the Women's Tennis Association. King is considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time and was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1987.
