Bonnie Franklin was an American actress, best known for her role as Ann Romano on the sitcom "One Day at a Time." She also had a successful stage career, earning a Tony nomination for her performance in "Applause." Franklin was a lung cancer survivor and an advocate for cancer research before her death in 2013.
