Boris Karloff was a British actor best known for his portrayal of Frankenstein's monster in the 1931 film "Frankenstein" and its sequels. He also appeared in numerous horror films throughout the 1930s and 1940s, cementing his status as a horror icon. Karloff passed away in 1969 at the age of 81.
