Bud Abbott was an American actor and comedian who is best known as the straight man in the comedy duo Abbott and Costello. He acted in over 100 films and was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. Abbott died in 1974 at the age of 78.
Bud and Lou are unemployed actors living in Mr. Fields’ boarding house. Lou’s girlfriend Hillary lives across the hall. Many situations arise leading to slapstick and puns.
