Canada Lee was an African-American actor known for his powerful performances in films such as "Lifeboat" and "Cry, the Beloved Country." He was also an important figure in the Civil Rights Movement, using his platform to fight against racial discrimination in Hollywood and beyond. Sadly, Lee's career was cut short by his untimely death at the age of 45.
