Carl Ballantine was an American magician, comedian, and actor. He appeared in numerous TV shows and movies, most notably as Lester Gruber on the sitcom "McHale's Navy." Ballantine was known for his combination of physical comedy and magic tricks. He passed away in 2009 at the age of 92.
