Carolyn Jones was an American actress known for playing Morticia Addams in the TV series "The Addams Family" from 1964 to 1966. She also appeared in several films such as "The Bachelor Party", "How the West Was Won", and "King Creole". Jones was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "The Bachelor Party". She passed away in 1983 due to cancer.
