Catherine E. Coulson was an American actress and assistant director, best known for her role as the Log Lady on the television series Twin Peaks. She had a career in both film and stage, working with fellow Twin Peaks creator David Lynch on several projects. Coulson passed away in 2015 at the age of 71.
