Charlotte Greenwood (1890-1978) was an American actress, dancer, and comedian. She appeared in over 60 films and on numerous Broadway shows, earning a reputation for her tall stature, wit, and athleticism. She was nominated for an Academy Award for her supporting role in "Oklahoma!" (1955).
