Clara Blandick was an American stage actress who appeared in films in the 1930s and 1940s. She is best known for her role as Auntie Em in the 1939 film, The Wizard of Oz. Blandick had a successful career on Broadway before transitioning to film, and continued acting until her death in 1962.
