Claude Piéplu (1923-2006) was a French actor best known for his work in theatre, film and television. He appeared in over 200 films and worked with some of France's most acclaimed directors, including Francois Truffaut and Jean-Pierre Melville. Piéplu was a member of the prestigious Comédie-Française from 1950 to 1958.
