David Bowles is a Mexican-American author, translator, and professor. He is known for his writing in speculative fiction and his translations of Mexican literature, including works by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz and Amado Nervo. He currently teaches at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley.
