David Silverman is an American animator and director, best known for his work on the long-running animated television show, The Simpsons. He has also directed the films Monsters, Inc., The Simpsons Movie, and co-directed The Road to El Dorado. Silverman has won several awards for his work in animation, including an Emmy Award for outstanding animated program.
