Dean Martin was an American singer, comedian, and actor who became popular in the 1950s and 1960s. He was known for his smooth vocals and his laconic, laid-back persona. Martin appeared in dozens of films, including Rio Bravo, The Cannonball Run, and The Sons of Katie Elder. He was also a member of the Rat Pack, a group of entertainers that included Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr. Martin died in 1995 at the age of 78.
