Derek Jacobi is an English actor born in 1938. He has a long and distinguished career on stage, film and television, including notable performances as Hamlet, Cyrano de Bergerac and Prospero in The Tempest. He has won numerous awards including a Tony, two Laurence Olivier Awards, and a BAFTA for Best Actor.
