Diahann Carroll

Diahann Carroll was an American actress, singer, and model who began her career in the 1950s. She was the first black woman to win a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, and the first black woman to have her own television series in a non-stereotypical role. Carroll passed away in 2019 at the age of 84.
