Dirk Bogarde was an English actor and writer who began his career in the 1940s and became a prominent leading man in the 1950s and 1960s. Some of his notable roles include "The Servant", "Death in Venice", and "Darling". Later in life, he turned to writing and released several successful novels and autobiographies. Bogarde passed away in 1999 at the age of 78.
