Sir Donald Sinden CBE was an English actor and author who appeared in more than 70 films and over 150 television programs. He was known for his distinctive voice, and his roles in The Cruel Sea, Mogambo, Doctor in the House, and Zulu. He was awarded a CBE in 1979 and was knighted in 1997. Sinden passed away in 2014 at the age of 90.
