Dorothy McGuire (June 14, 1916 – September 13, 2001) was an American actress whose career spanned four decades. She starred in many films, including "Gentleman's Agreement" (1947), which won the Academy Award for Best Picture. She also had success on Broadway, being nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in the play "The Trial of Mary Dugan" (1947).
