Durga Khote
Durga Khote was an iconic Indian film actress, producer, and director who worked in Hindi and Marathi cinema in the 1930s-1980s. She was one of the founding members of the Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) and the first woman to preside over the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA). She received several national awards for her contributions to Indian cinema.
