Earle Hyman was an American stage, television and film actor best known for playing Russell Huxtable in The Cosby Show. He had a career that spanned over six decades, appearing in numerous productions on Broadway and television shows such as Thundercats, All My Children and The Defenders. Hyman passed away in 2017 at the age of 91.
