Eazy-E, born Eric Wright, was an American rapper and record producer known for pioneering gangsta rap with his group N.W.A. He also founded Ruthless Records and launched the careers of artists such as Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. Eazy-E passed away in 1995 at the age of 31 due to complications from AIDS.
