Eddie Cantor was an American actor, comedian, singer, and songwriter who was a popular entertainer in the early and mid-20th century. He starred in films and on Broadway and was known for his comedic timing and musical performances. Cantor was also a vocal advocate for a variety of social causes, including civil rights and the fight against polio.
