Edna Best was a British actress born in 1900. She appeared in numerous films during the 1920s and 1930s, including Hitchcock's "The Man Who Knew Too Much". Best also acted on stage in London's West End and on Broadway. She retired from acting in 1948 and passed away in 1974.
