Edward Binns was an American actor who performed primarily on stage and in television and film during his career which spanned from the 1940s until his death in 1990. He appeared in over 100 films, including 12 Angry Men (1957) and The Verdict (1982). Binns was known for his naturalistic style of acting and for portraying tough, working-class characters.
