Edward F. Cline was an American actor, director, and screenwriter born in 1892. He worked in the film industry for more than two decades and directed over 200 films. Cline also co-wrote and directed the cult classic film "The Bank Dick" starring W.C. Fields. He passed away in 1961 at the age of 68.
