El Brendel was an American actor and vaudevillian who appeared in various films from 1913 to 1937. He was known for his comedic roles and his unique style of speaking, which was characterized by a Swedish accent and unconventional grammar. Brendel retired from acting in the late 1930s and passed away in 1964.
