Eleanor Parker (1922-2013) was an American actress known for her versatility and range on screen. She earned three Academy Award nominations for her performances in "Caged" (1950), "Detective Story" (1951), and "Interrupted Melody" (1955). She also starred in "The Sound of Music" (1965). Parker passed away at the age of 91.
