Elliott Nugent
Elliott Nugent was an American actor, playwright, writer, and film director born on September 20, 1896, in Dover, Ohio. He began his acting career in college before transitioning to directing and writing plays on Broadway. Nugent later directed films in Hollywood, including The Male Animal and The Cat and the Canary. He died on August 9, 1980, in New York City.
