Ellis Haizlip
Ellis Haizlip was an American television host, producer, and writer, best known as the creator and host of the pioneering television show Soul! which highlighted African American culture and the arts during the late 1960s and 1970s. Haizlip also produced theater productions and documentaries. He died in 1991 at the age of 61.
