Ernst Busch

Ernst Busch (1900-1980) was a German actor and singer who performed on stage and in film. He was known for his powerful voice and socialist political activism, which led to his being imprisoned by the Nazis in the 1930s. After WWII, Busch continued to act and performed in the Soviet Union and East Germany.
