Fred Williams was an Australian painter known for his distinctive landscapes featuring iconic Australian scenery. He won the Wynne Prize in 1956 and 1963, and his work is held in collections throughout Australia including the National Gallery of Australia and the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Williams passed away in 1982.
