Gene Tierney was an American actress who appeared in several Hollywood films during the 1940s and 1950s. She was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in the 1945 film "Leave Her to Heaven". Tierney's other notable films include "Laura" (1944), "Dragonwyck" (1946), and "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" (1947).
