George Macready was an American actor known for his distinctive voice and distinctive features. He appeared in over 70 films, including "Paths of Glory" and "Gilda." He was also a successful stage actor, appearing in productions of "Hamlet" and "King Lear." He died in 1973 at the age of 73.
