George Murcell was a British character actor, best known for his deep, distinctive voice. He appeared in over 70 films, including The Great Escape and Diamonds Are Forever, as well as numerous television shows. He was also a prolific voiceover artist. Murcell passed away in 1998 at the age of 75.
