George Voskovec
George Voskovec was a Czech-American actor, playwright, and director born in 1905. He was a founding member of the internationally renowned Czech theatre company, the České Stavovské Divadlo. In 1941, Voskovec emigrated from Czechoslovakia to the United States, where he continued his successful career in theatre and film until his death in 1981.
