Georges Delerue

Georges Delerue was a French composer who worked on over 350 films and television shows during his career. He was best known for his collaborations with French New Wave directors such as Jean-Luc Godard and François Truffaut. Delerue's style was characterized by his use of delicate melodies and lush orchestration. He won an Academy Award for his work on the film A Little Romance in 1979.
