Gertrude Astor (1887-1977) was an American actress who appeared in over 250 movies between 1915 and 1962, mostly in supporting roles. She began her career in silent films and successfully transitioned to talkies. Astor appeared in numerous silent comedies of the 1920s and was considered one of the era's leading comediennes.
