Girish Karnad
Girish Karnad was an Indian actor, director, and playwright known for his contributions to Indian theatre, cinema, and literature. He was the recipient of numerous awards, including the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan. Throughout his career, Karnad was a strong advocate for communal harmony and social justice. He passed away in 2019 at the age of 81.
