Gower Champion was an American actor, choreographer, and director, best known for his work on Broadway musicals such as "42nd Street" and "Hello, Dolly!". He was also a recipient of multiple Tony Awards for his contributions to the theater industry. Champion passed away in 1980 at the age of 59.
